Sir Syed University announces free AI programs

Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, in partnership with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), is taking a proactive approach to promoting youth skill development. The university is providing students of all genders with the chance to undergo free high-end professional training. This training will be made possible through the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Programme.

This initiative, known as Batch IV, covers seven trades. These trades include cutting-edge areas such as Mobile Application Development Android, System Development and Applications, Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud Computing, Digital Forensic & Cyber Security, Network Administrator, Game Development, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with an emphasis on Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Communication.

The selection of Sir Syed University for the fourth consecutive batch of this program underscores its exceptional performance and commitment to both academic and vocational excellence. During the program’s launch occasion. The VC of the university, Professor Doctor Vali Uddin, emphasized the significance of vocational training in driving economic development. Particularly for those Pakistani students who usually do not have reach to higher education. He also highlighted the university’s willingness to collaborate with government and private sector institutions. This collaboration leverages its strong industry connections to provide students with valuable internship and employment opportunities across various fields.

The overwhelming response to the courses, with approximately 10,250 candidates applying for the seven trades, reflects the strong interest and recognition of the importance of acquiring skills in these advanced fields.

There are limited seats available for a certain opportunity. The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 40 years. During the interview, candidates are required to bring their educational documents and one photograph.
