Consumers can pay the amount of these taxes in 3 or 6 months easy installments without any interest.
Currently, this offer is only available to customers who own a Bank Alfalah Credit Card. Other customers cannot avail of this option. However, people who can afford premium mobile phones can also afford to get a Credit card in Pakistan, making it easy for them to pay the PTA tax in installments.
The process to pay PTA mobile tax in installments:
To get this installment offer, consumers can follow this process:
- Go to the Alfa Mall website
- Click on the ‘Shop by’ button and choose the option ‘PTA Approval 2023’
- Select your desired package
- Choose an installments duration of 3 or 6 months
- Enter your CNIC number
- Enter the IMEI numbers of your mobile phone
- Finally, complete the transaction by using your Bank Alfalah Credit card
It will take 5 to 7 working days for the completion of this approval process. Once your request is approved, you will receive a confirmation email, and your installment period will start. However, please note that once your request is approved, it cannot be canceled, and it is a non-refundable transaction. So, think twice before availing of this installment option.
In our opinion, this is a good option, but if Alfa Mall also provides this option for mid-range mobile phones and used mobile phones, then it will be more popular. And, more people will be able to avail of this option, especially for used iPhones. We hope that Alfa Mall will also consider this and offer this option for mid-range or used phones. It will also be a good step in the popularity of the 5G mobile services that are expected to come by the end of 2023.
