The announcement was made by Syed Amin-ul-Haque, the Federal Minister for IT and Telecom. Under Pakistan’s AI initiative, the Ministry of IT and Telecom (MoIT&T) will collaborate with academia to train 100,000 AI graduates. While the remaining 50,000 will receive training through partnerships with the IT industry. These 150,000 AI Experts will help Pakistan to grow in this area. Minister Amin-ul-Haque emphasized that projects of national interest, such as this one, will pave the way for Pakistan’s readiness to harness the potential of AI.
